24 Hours

We've all got 24 hours how will you spend yours?

It doesn’t matter whether you are the King of England, the Pope, Richard Branson, or whether you are a sales rep, store manager, or you work in a factory…

We ALL have the same 24 hours a day available to us…

BUT! it’s HOW YOU use those 24 hours each day which makes the difference…

The point is; we all have 24 hours a day, less the recommended amount of sleep of around 8 hours, so then the big question is: given life is short enough already, how well are YOU using the other 16 hours whilst you are awake?

OK, so you started off with 24 hours, had some sleep and now you only have 16 hours left whilst awake…

Quick Fact:

Technically, for those of you who often say things like “there’s not enough hours in a day” – you’re in luck… most days are actually slightly more than 24 hours! – 24.0000002743 in fact !! (and about a billion years ago, a day was actually 5 hours shorter!)

When you then consider that a lot of people spend around 8 or 9 hours each day working to make their bosses wealthier, then suddenly you now only have maybe 8 hours left...

Then, think about all the unpaid “lost hours” too – all those nightmare daily commutes to and from the office, maybe stuck in traffic or on the tube… and perhaps you even take some work home with you or maybe you have to deal with phone calls from the boss at the weekend?

All of a sudden you find that you now only have maybe around 5 hours per day leftto make a meal, do a bit of washing, and attempt to fit in an hour or so with your family…

Before doing it all again tomorrow…
You are effectively just “existing”

You could be spending up to 41% of your day making someone else wealthy just so you can “struggle to pay your bills”

What’s the solution?

TIME FOR MONEY!

Life’s too short…
If you are lucky enough these days to live to around the age of 80 or so – when you consider that maybe the first 20 or 25 years of your life is spent in education, followed by perhaps 40 or 50 years working just to make someone else wealthy (i.e. your bosses) – then maybe its time to re-think your lifestyle before its too late?

u003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eWorried about Job Security?u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eIn 2020, the world changed.  The impact of the global pandemic is something that most people won’t have ever experienced in their lifetime.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eWhat started as a news report back in December 2019 about some sort of lockdown in China, has now become the biggest global peacetime impact that most of us will ever know about.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eGradually what initially appeared to be a flu-like virus just in China, has now circled the planet, and the impact on economies, way of life, and businesses, which has subsequently affected people’s job security, is on a scale not seen before.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eI can remember writing in one of my books a couple of years ago, about the impact things like the last recession and the banking crisis caused, especially as I was working in sales and business development at the time, but the effect of coronavirus is sadly on another level.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eAlmost daily we now hear about businesses closing down, some of which are brands and companies that my generation have grown up with and felt like they have been around forever.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eWhilst all my usual thread of topics aimed towards explaining the “Why Digital” was often due to helping people escape the so-called “9 to 5” rat-race, daily commutes, workplace stress, and the “dream” of wanting to create a better lifestyle solution, in fact for literally thousands of people, sadly that “9 to 5” was taken away overnight whether they liked it or not anyway.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eMy previous aim was to help people realise the potentials of digital opportunities and “gradually” prepare, to learn about the possibilities, and to create the foundations behind the scenes so that they would be in a better position to have their own “plan b” and an alternative to the 9 to 5 life they currently had.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eu003cstrongu003eCoronavirus has just suddenly changed everything, for everyone, and created urgency.u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eThat all said, let’s be honest, the high street retail sector was already having a hard time before coronavirus was even heard of, because online shopping was more common place, and government and local authorities applying high business rates, and even parking restrictions, were already gradually helping the demise of the high street as we once knew it, but that situation was accelerated almost overnight by coronavirus.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eBut the point is, even if you had thought about it previously but just wasn’t quite ready, u003cstrongu003ethe emphasis on being able to work from home has now never before been so high on people’s agenda.u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eSadly, I think this situation has only just begun.  Global economies, recessions and job losses are only just starting, especially as furlough schemes are phased out.  I already know people who have been made redundant because their bosses knew that once the furlough schemes stop, there is no way to pay peoples wages.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eNone of us know what’s around the corner, some scientists are even predicting future pandemics, at a time when the current one might not yet have even seen its worst.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eWith very realistic talks of second and third waves, there is no time to lose.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eThis stretches far beyond just the high street now though, manufacturing, and other sectors have been affected too.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eThe focus for online opportunities is NOW.u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eA few years ago, people were still suspicious of ordering things online.  These days it’s a normal thing to do.  But, in order to take advantage of online opportunities, you need to get ahead of the game, and get on board before your potential competitors do it first…u003c/pu003enu003cp style=u0022font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;u0022u003eu003c/pu003e
